Effective project management key to meeting ESG compliance requirements

As a company, our focus on ESG compliance involves a wide range of activities that are integrated into the daily work of our team. We recognize that the majority of ESG requirements will be implemented through a well-run project, such as effective risk management. Therefore, we are committed to ensuring that our ESG strategy and management practices are well-designed and effective.

Our approach to ESG compliance covers several themes that are critical to achieving our objectives. These include policy and process design, ESMS (Environmental and Social Management System), monitoring and reporting, audit and compliance, certification, industrial risk management, supply chain management, stakeholder engagement planning, grievance management, carbon footprint, environmental impact assessment (EIA), and project permitting, which includes social and environmental impact assessments. We understand that QHSE staff play a vital role in ensuring that our operations are safe and comply with regulations. As such, we have incorporated reporting on safety, permitting, and social and environmental impact assessments into their responsibilities. Additionally, we have developed an ESG Index and Standards, as well as ESG-based KPIs, to help guide our efforts and monitor progress towards our goals.

We are committed to the progressive realization of our ESG framework within the limit of our capabilities. Our focus is on complying with different ISO standards, including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 50001:2018, and ISO 45001:2018. In the future, we plan to obtain certification of our ESMS by FID +1 year.

Overall, we understand the importance of ESG compliance and are dedicated to ensuring that our operations are conducted in a responsible and sustainable manner. By prioritizing ESG in our daily work, we are confident that we can make a positive impact on the environment, society, and the long-term success of our business.
