NY Fuels focuses on developing projects aimed at producing green ammonia. NY Fuels’ biggest asset is the team. Previously, our team members played key roles in well-known companies in the process industries both internationally and in Norway. We were in leading positions in the management and implemented projects at Borealis, Equinor, and Smartenergy. One of the green ammonia projects for example that the team developed, is located on the west coast of Norway with a planned production capacity of 200,000 tonnes of ammonia by 2027. NY Fuels benefits from the good blend of experience of the team to offer planning security for owners and operators by compliance and benefit from the Norwegian and worldwide momentum to reach Net-zero emissions regulations, the ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) investment framework, etc. The team focuses on the development of green ammonia projects until they reach the Financial Investment Decision (FID) and hand them over to credible and proven track record owners.

The projects target Norwegian and international hard-to-abate sectors such as land transport, maritime shipping and chemical industries. Starting from day one and during their lifecycle, our projects are designed to maximize the use and partnership with local partners/resources in the value chain (in permitting, design, procurements, etc.), and comply with local and national safety requirements. Through lessons learned from our previous experience, Ny Fuels projects encompass 3 objectives:

• securing required commercial and technical deliverables for large-scale production of green ammonia.

• providing a basis for sustainable growth of the future production plant within the e-fuels value chain; and

• ensuring the highest level of GHG-emission avoidance in conformity with Norwegian and EU regulations to ensure stakeholders’ (i.e., business partners, investors, future plant owners and state aid agencies) compliance and benefits.

As an integrated developer, we are involved in the entire E-Fuel value chain, from the development of chemical processes to EPC/EPC[M] contracts to source 100% local renewable energy and long-term product offtake.
